Meet The Expert

Leonard brings over 35 years of distinguished experience in audit, risk management, and financial oversight across NGO, public, and private sectors. He leads the firm’s assurance portfolio, delivering independent, insightful, and actionable audits that strengthen governance and compliance.

A Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and ICPAK member, Leonard holds an MBA in Financial Management and a double major in Finance & Economics from the University of Wisconsin. He has led audits in over 14 countries across Africa and Asia, working with USAID, CRS, CGIAR, UNICEF, and UNDP. His expertise spans internal and external audits, donor compliance, risk-based assessments, and financial integrity reviews. Leonard oversaw audits across a 28-country region for USAID’s Regional Inspector General Office, earning multiple commendations. He also established internal audit units for public institutions and supported audit capacity-building in Kenya’s devolved governments. His leadership is built on integrity, value addition, and capacity development.
